The First ever Barnhall Senior Mens Team |
|
Rugby News.
A minutes silence was observed before all Barnhall's games this weekend after the sad loss of former Hon. Secretary and life member Michael “Mick” Hennessy. He will be sadly missed by all in Barnhall. May he rest in peace.
It was another busy weekend in Parsonstown that saw the First XV take on Rainey OB and beat them 29 - 23 The Second XV continued the winning streak by beating Carlow today, The Third XV were not so lucky out in Greystones, but the fourth XV won away to Monkstown on Saturday. The fifth team were unable to beat a good Terenure side. The Barnhall Babes enjoyed a good win over Clondalkin.
Next week sees the 1st XV travel to Division one side Dolphin for what is going to be the hardest game of the season so far. The seconds are at home on Sunday against Navan, and the Under 21's get their league campaign started when St. Marys visit Parsonstown on Sunday at 3pm. The third team are also at home on Sunday at 3pm with a game against. The Fourth & Fifth team will be at home to A.I.B & Clontarf on Saturday @ 3pm.
