President's letter

I would like to extend a big welcome to all who visit Barnhall, especially all our visiting teams and their supporters. I hope that the spirit that has made Rugby Football what it is, continues and that your visit will be a memorable one.

It is a great honour to be President of Barnhall R.F.C. especially as we celebrate 40 years since our founding. We are also celebrating 10 years as a Senior Club which is a great achievement for a club with such a short history.

I hope that all our teams, from the First 15 to our under 7's have a successful season and I would like to thank all the Coaches, Managers and helpers of each team for their dedication and time spent preparing their teams.

A special mention must go to our Ladies Team who have brought a new dimension to the club both on and off the pitch and I hope that ladies Rugby continues to grow in the years to come.

I would like to acknowledge the contribution made to the club by all our Sponsors. Without their support the club could hardly function. I would also like to thank all individuals who contribute either financially or by giving of their time voluntary, be it cutting grass or working behind the bar. Their efforts are much appreciated. Christy Dunne deserves a special mention for his time and effort in preparing our pitches which are better than most club grounds in the country.

To all the members of Barnhall I hope you have an enjoyable time at the various events taking place throughout the season and I know that your attendance will help make this season an unforgettable one.
